Babylon Mystery Orchestra – The Godless, The Godforsaken and The God Damned
Independent

Babylon Mystery Orchestra is Sydney Allen Johnson who hails from the United States. He is a one man project. His music is a blend of goth/doom and metal. His new album is, The Godless, The Godforsaken, and The God Damned.

When I first heard this album I thought it sounded much like his previous work. However, as I listened to it again the intricacies of the music began to come through. Sydney’s fifth studio album is a solid work. Some of the songs that stand out are “Jesus Saves”, “Ruin”, and “We is Killing Me”.

I also like the lyrical content of Sydney’s albums. He isn’t afraid to tell it like it is whether politically, socially, or spiritually. If I was to score this album on just the lyrics it would get a 7/7.

I have been a fan of his music for years.

There is a warning sticker on the front of the album that reads ” Warning: Repeated exposure to politically incorrect, insensitive and undiluted truths may lead to clear and rational thinking…..USE WITH CAUTION!” He doesn’t hold back. I love it.
